Privacy notice
Last updated
This notice explains what personal data the Scenovix website (scenovix.com) collects, why, who processes it for us and the rights you have. It covers this website only. The Scenovix application has its own terms and privacy information for the people who use it.
Who is responsible
The controller for this website is Scenovix. You can reach us at hello@scenovix.com about anything in this notice. Our registered company details will be published on the imprint page.
What we collect and why
When you request early access or contact us
The contact form asks for:
- your name and email address;
- your organisation, if you choose to give it;
- your role (for example club or coach, media, league, developer or investor) and the sport you are interested in;
- your message, if you write one;
- your agreement to this notice.
We use these details only to read and answer your request, to discuss early access and, if you go ahead, to set up your access. We do not add you to a mailing list and we do not sell or share your details for marketing.
The legal basis is taking steps at your request before entering into a contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR) and, for general enquiries, our legitimate interest in answering the people who contact us (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
The same applies if you email us directly: we use your message and address to reply.
Spam protection
The form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to tell people from automated spam. Turnstile processes technical signals from your browser and your IP address to run the check. Our server sends the check result and your IP address to Cloudflare to confirm it. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in keeping the form free of abuse.
Hosting and analytics
The website is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Like any web server, Cloudflare processes your IP address and request details (such as the page requested and your browser type) to deliver the site and protect it from attacks.
We may use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count page views. It is cookieless: it does not set cookies or use local storage, and it does not track you across sites. The legal basis for hosting and analytics is our legitimate interest in running a secure, working website and understanding which pages are useful.
Cookies
We do not set cookies on this website. Cloudflare may set strictly necessary security cookies when it protects the site or runs the Turnstile check.
Who processes your data for us
- Cloudflare, Inc. hosts the website and provides Turnstile and Web Analytics.
- Resend delivers the email that sends your request to our inbox.
They process data on our behalf and under our instructions. Some of this processing may take place outside the European Economic Area. Where it does, it relies on safeguards recognised under the GDPR, such as the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses or an adequacy decision.
How long we keep it
We keep early-access requests and related emails for up to 24 months after our last contact with you, or until you ask us to delete them, whichever comes first. If you become a customer, the data you need for your account is governed by the application’s own terms.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to:
- access the personal data we hold about you and get a copy;
- rectification of data that is wrong or incomplete;
- erasure of your data;
- restriction of how we process it;
- object to processing based on our legitimate interests;
- portability, receiving the data you gave us in a structured, machine-readable format.
To use any of these rights, email hello@scenovix.com. We reply within one month.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, in particular in the country where you live or work, or where you think your rights were infringed.
Changes to this notice
We update this notice when the website or the services we use change. The date at the top shows the latest version.
